Besides essentially means "in addition to" So in question #1 you do not need Besides and also, in that particular sentence I would omit 'also' . I don't know that 'Besides ' is wrong, it is just awkward.
#2 besides is unnecessary, the sentence would be smoother if you put a comma in place of the period, so it is an extra you do not need because you already set up the scenario,when you said you 'like to watch B-Bal and listen to music'….. You could also start sentence 2 with out the "by", just say 'Watching BB games, I can enjoy the high-level BB skill that I never learn, music makes me more creative and relaxed.
Unless you are being paid by the word or you have a 1000 word essay you want to pad, less is better….
Besides, besides is such a defensive sounding word… ; )

You really don't want to get into color-correcting every single photograph in photoshop. It's very difficult to make changes around the eyes without them being noticeable not to mention the amount of time you would have to spend doing it. If he minds that his glasses will be darker then definitely remove them for the outside pics.
